Wx is an unusual company, half workplace consultant, half technology designer.
We have founded the company in 2017 as a Sodexo corp-up, to pursue one mission:
Lead the workplace and employee experience revolution towards a liquid, data-driven, human-centric world of work.
We were fed up by how something as important as the workplace was actually thought and treated. Opinions from gurus, trends, and a lack of focus on the end-user. We were astounded by how sophisticated were the tools, technologies and techniques available, and how little there were used by those who were designing the workplace.
Why doing technology and consulting?
Because we’re solving one problem for our clients: understanding its workplace, and how its people are interacting with it. Most of our consulting projects involve the use of sensors to understand the physical interactions at our clients; and most of our technology clients are amidst workplace transformation projects when they ask us for a digital solution. In order to better serve them, we have acquired CSM, an European leader in workplace analytics, that became Wx.Solutions.
We put the human at the center of all our work. We don't execute a project without trying to incorporate the voice and the input of those who are going to live through it.
We oppose against the doxa, the gurus, and everyone who will tell you to follow their expertise without granting you the possibility to exert your judgement.
We opened our doors on the principle that clients should get results—not just reports—from their consultants. We broke the rules by developing customized strategies that helped clients create workplaces that work. We continue to work with ambitious clients who want to define the future, not hide from it.
We never assume something will work without studying its implications; we crave for facts, not recognition.
We act as on team and share without fear amongst our peers. Although we may be spread across the globe, we make sure to contribute to the success of our colleagues, knowing they will act reciprocally.
Wx is born from this vision; in order to embrace the workplace challenge, it was necessary to develop a methodology to holistically analyze the different elements composing the employee experience, and to gather a variety of expertises.
